Dear AmCham Members,

Together with the U.S. Embassy Vienna, we are delighted to kick off “Empower Her” in Austria – a transatlantic initiative to promote women’s empowerment in the business community and model the advantages of equal opportunity in commerce and trade. Empower Her is being rolled out successfully across Europe, and we are excited to bring it to life in Austria with two very attractive programs named MentorUS and ConnectUS. 

MentorUS, a mentoring program for female employees of AmCham Austria member companies, brings together a diverse group of Austro-American business leaders with women who aspire to excel in leadership and management roles. Running from September 2023 to May 2024, MentorUS offers a safe space for personal and professional growth, providing valuable guidance and insights to help women become the leaders they aspire to be.

ConnectUS, the premiere Networking Program of AmCham Austria, will bring together up to 80 talented individuals from member organizations across all industries. Through a series of four interactive events from September 2023 to May 2024, ConnectUS aims to facilitate meaningful connections and foster professional relationships among the next generation of leaders, with a focus on promoting women’s empowerment and gender equality.

Eligible members have already been contacted to apply for these programs, and the application phase remains open until June 30th, 2023.
